Description

In this course, you will learn everything necessary to apply Sleep Dentistry in your clinical practice, from diagnosis to treatment of sleep disorders. Additionally, you will discover how this discipline relates to other dental specialties and how its integration will improve your clinical outcomes. This way, you will be able to provide more comprehensive and holistic care to your patients.

Contents

  1. Sleep: Introduction to the most relevant sleep disorders affecting dental patients.
  2. Snoring: Evaluation and management of snoring in the dental clinic.
  3. Apnea and its friends: Diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea.
  4. Workshop on respiratory polygraphs: Use of this diagnostic test to detect apneas.
  5. Types of treatments for apnea: Review of the different types of treatments available.
  6. Friki Level, other sleep disorders: Analysis of less common, yet equally important sleep disorders.
  7. Application in clinic (live session): How to integrate Sleep Dentistry into daily practice and its connection with other dental areas.

Methodology

The course is divided into 6 high-level training modules, each consisting of a 45-minute video class. To ensure proper understanding and assimilation of the topics, at the end of each module you will need to take an online self-assessment test.

You will only be able to access the next module after passing the test.

Final live session

On January 24, 2025, Dr. Eva Martos will offer a live online session, where she will address the most relevant topics of the course and clarify doubts.

Extended access to the course

After the live session, the course will remain available for one more month, until February 25, 2025, to review topics or complete any modules you may have missed, at your own pace.
